Torklift Stainless Steel StableLoad© Lower Overload Kit - Ford - F7859S
IN STOCK
Your truck has the muscle. Put it to work. Torklift StableLoad is a stainless steel lower overload kit that pre-activates factory overload springs so they engage sooner under load. Unloaded, factory overload springs have an intentional gap that closes under load. When under load, StableLoad closes that gap that normally delays overload engagement, reducing rear-end sag, sway, body roll, and porpoising while improving steering control and overall loaded stability. The stainless steel construction stands up to rough road conditions like salt spray and remains corrosion resistant. Made in the USA and backed with a 90 day satisfaction guarantee.
At Torklift Central’s Retail Product Development Center in Kent, Washington, we help match StableLoad® to compatible factory overload springs, existing suspension modifications and the driver’s real goal: loaded control and comfortable ride.

Stop Fighting Your Truck. The problem is the gap. On compatible trucks, the factory overload spring is already there, but it does not engage immediately. The main spring pack has to compress before the overload comes into play, allowing the truck to squat and move more under load. StableLoad® takes up that gap and pre-activates the factory overload spring so it starts working sooner.
The result is less rear-end sag, reduced sway and body roll, less porpoising, better steering control and a more stable loaded ride. StableLoad works with the suspension your truck already has instead of bypassing it. At Torklift Central in Kent, Washington, we can offer you a vehicle suspension evaluation and walk you through our StableLoad Challenge so you can see the StableLoads in action.
What is the StableLoad Challenge?
At the Lance Owners of America Rally, attendees were asked to complete the StableLoad Challenge. The setup was straightforward: two identical Ford F-150 trucks, each carrying 2,800 pounds of rock in the bed. The only difference? One truck had StableLoads engaged, while the other relied solely on factory suspension.Without StableLoads, test drivers didn’t mince words about the stock suspension experience. With 2,800 pounds in the bed, the truck felt unstable and unpredictable.
"This thing already feels like it's going to roll over," one driver noted immediately. "It feels loose and it's just a lot of movement back there."
With StableLoads, the transformation was immediate and dramatic. When drivers switched to the truck with StableLoads engaged, their reactions told the story, with the difference in handling being the most consistent feedback.
"It's not like having any load at all," one driver observed. "The springs are more engaged instead of being compressed all the way down."

StableLoad® Features
-
Improves handling, stability, and control while towing and hauling. StableLoad® dramatically improves loaded handling by reducing body roll, sway, and porpoising while helping the truck feel more stable and controlled on the road.
-
Pre-activates the factory overload suspension without sacrificing unloaded ride comfort. StableLoad® is the only overload suspension system designed around the two major truck manufacturing laws of suspension:
-
Law 1: the truck must remain uncompromisingly comfortable as a passenger vehicle.
-
Law 2: the truck must ride safely without compromising comfort while towing and hauling.
-
Turns on and off in seconds. Lower StableLoad® quick-disconnect models can be engaged when towing or hauling and disengaged when the truck is unloaded, allowing the factory suspension to return to its normal unloaded operation.
-
Made from rust-free stainless steel. Stainless-steel construction keeps the StableLoad® looking new without relying on a protective powder-coat layer.
-
Uses a quad-contact design to work with the factory suspension. StableLoad® maintains four points of suspension contact to complement the vehicle's specially engineered suspension system. Automotive manufacturers invest millions of dollars developing that suspension geometry, while other rear suspension products can reduce contact to only two points.
-
Enhances airbag performance when the systems are used together. StableLoad® activates the factory overload springs so they carry more of the load, which can reduce the amount of airbag pressure needed while maintaining adjustable air support.
-
Includes four lower StableLoad® units. One complete kit includes four lower StableLoads and outfits one complete vehicle.
-
Backed by the Legendary Lifetime Warranty. StableLoad® warranty coverage includes the vehicle's factory leaf springs, providing additional confidence in the suspension system the product is designed to enhance.
-
Proudly made in the USA. StableLoad® is manufactured in the United States by Torklift.
-
Recommended for truck camper stability and control. When hauling a truck camper, Torklift strongly recommends StableLoad® to help support the load, reduce sway and body roll, and promote safer, more controlled handling on the road.
-
Backed by a 90-Day Satisfaction Guarantee. Experience the difference StableLoad® makes in stability, control, and driving confidence. If StableLoad® does not transform your ride within 90 days, return it for a full refund.
StableLoad® vs. Rubber Bump Stops, Airbags, and Sway Bars
One product can address multiple loaded-handling problems. StableLoad® is different from many suspension add-ons because it works with the truck's existing factory overload springs to address several symptoms at the same time. By pre-activating the factory overload system, StableLoad reduces loaded squat, sway, body roll, and porpoising while improving steering control and overall loaded stability.
For many compatible truck camper, towing, and hauling applications, that means StableLoad can function as an all-in-one loaded-handling upgrade instead of requiring several separate products to address different symptoms.
Versus Rubber Bump Stops and Jounce-Style Springs
-
StableLoad activates the suspension your truck already has. Instead of relying only on an added rubber contact point, StableLoad brings the factory overload leaf springs into the suspension cycle sooner so the truck's existing suspension can do more of the work.
-
StableLoad addresses more than rear-end squat. Earlier overload engagement also reduces sway, body roll, and porpoising for a more controlled loaded drive.
-
Quick-disconnect models can be turned on and off. Engage StableLoad when towing or hauling, then disengage it when the truck is unloaded so the factory overload system can return to its normal unloaded operation.
-
The quad-contact design works with the factory suspension. StableLoad maintains four points of suspension contact to complement the suspension geometry engineered into the truck.
Versus Airbags
-
StableLoad and airbags solve different problems. StableLoad pre-activates the factory overload springs to improve loaded control. Airbags add adjustable air support and are especially useful when the truck needs adjustable leveling.
-
StableLoad does not require air-pressure management. There are no compressors, airlines, or pressure adjustments required as part of the StableLoad system.
-
You may not need to build a complicated suspension package. If squat, sway, body roll, and porpoising are the main problems, StableLoad can address those symptoms through one mechanical upgrade.
-
StableLoad and airbags can also work together. When a compatible truck needs both stronger loaded control and adjustable leveling, the two systems can be combined after fitment is confirmed.
Versus Rear Sway Bars
-
A sway bar primarily targets body roll. StableLoad addresses body roll while also reducing loaded squat, sway, and porpoising by engaging the factory overload springs sooner.
-
StableLoad tackles several symptoms through one suspension change. That can reduce the need to stack one product for squat, another for sway, and another for overall loaded control.
-
Quick-disconnect StableLoads give the driver control over engagement. When the truck is not carrying the heavy load, the system can be disengaged on compatible quick-disconnect applications.
Why StableLoad Is Often the Best First Suspension Upgrade
Truck owners frequently start shopping for suspension products one symptom at a time. The truck squats, so they look for a leveling product. It sways, so they consider a sway bar. It porpoises, so they start looking for another suspension upgrade.
StableLoad takes a different approach.
Start with the factory suspension already under the truck. By eliminating the gap that delays factory overload engagement, StableLoad brings those overload springs into action sooner and addresses several loaded-handling problems at the same time. StableLoad brings those overload springs into action sooner and addresses several loaded-handling problems at the same time.
For many compatible trucks, that means one StableLoad system can deliver the loaded control the driver was trying to build with several separate suspension products.

What does StableLoad® do for a loaded truck?
StableLoad pre-activates factory overload springs so they engage sooner when the truck is carrying a heavy load. That dramatically reduces rear-end sag, sway, body roll and porpoising while improving steering control and overall loaded stability.
How do I know if StableLoad® is right for my truck?
The first step is confirming that the truck has a compatible factory overload-spring configuration. Torklift Central can also review existing suspension modifications, tire clearance and the driver's expectations for load management.
Why does Torklift Central recommend starting with the factory overload springs?
Many trucks already have overload springs engineered into the factory suspension which truck manufacturers invest millions of dollars developing, but those springs are not designed to engage immediately. StableLoad fills up the engagement gap so the factory overloads begin working sooner. That allows the truck owner to start with the suspension already under the vehicle before adding more components.
Can StableLoad® solve more than one suspension problem?
Yes. StableLoad addresses several common loaded-handling symptoms at the same time, including squat, sway, body roll and porpoising. For many compatible trucks, that makes StableLoad an all-in-one loaded-handling upgrade instead of requiring one product for squat, another for sway and another for overall control.
Should I choose StableLoad® or airbags?
It depends on the problem you are trying to solve. StableLoad is designed for loaded handling control by pre-activating the factory overload springs. Airbags provide adjustable air support and are useful when adjustable leveling is important. If your main concerns are squat, sway, body roll and porpoising, StableLoad is often the best place to start.
Can StableLoad® and airbags be used together?
Yes, StableLoad can provide loaded handling control through the factory overload springs while airbags provide adjustable leveling. Torklift Central can help determine whether StableLoad alone addresses the problem or whether a combination makes more sense for the truck and load.
Is StableLoad® better than a sway bar?
The products address different suspension behaviors. A sway bar primarily targets body roll. StableLoad addresses body roll while also reducing loaded sag, sway and porpoising through earlier factory overload engagement. If several loaded-handling symptoms are occurring at the same time, StableLoad can address more than one of them through a single upgrade.
How is StableLoad® different from rubber bump stops or jounce springs?
StableLoad works with compatible factory overload springs instead of relying only on added rubber contact points. It brings the truck's existing overload suspension into action sooner, helping the factory suspension do more of the work when the truck is loaded.
Will StableLoad® make my truck ride stiff when it is unloaded?
Quick-disconnect lower StableLoad models can be disengaged when the heavy load comes off so the factory overload system returns to its normal unloaded engagement state.
Does StableLoad® increase my truck's payload or towing capacity?
No. StableLoad does not increase GVWR, GAWR, payload or towing capacity and neither does any other suspension product. It improves how the compatible factory overload suspension engages under load. Always operate the truck within all vehicle, hitch and tire ratings.
Does StableLoad® require drilling?
Installation requirements vary by StableLoad configuration. Most applications do not require drilling a through-hole but may still require spring preparation such as dimpling. Torklift Central confirms the exact installation method, required tools and any clearance requirements before installation.
How long does StableLoad® installation take?
Installation time varies by StableLoad configuration and the condition of the vehicle. Torklift Central can confirm the expected installation process and appointment requirements once the exact truck and StableLoad configuration are identified.
Can Torklift Central install StableLoad® for me?
Yes. Torklift Central provides professional StableLoad fitment and installation at its Retail Product Development Center in Kent, Washington. The team can confirm the factory overload configuration, inspect relevant suspension modifications and install the correct StableLoad system.
What if my truck already has other suspension upgrades?
Existing airbags, helper springs, lifts and other suspension modifications can affect fitment and the final recommendation. Torklift Central can evaluate the current setup before recommending StableLoad alone or a combined suspension solution.
Is StableLoad® a good choice for a truck camper?
Yes. StableLoad is especially useful for compatible trucks carrying truck campers because one system can address several loaded-handling concerns, including sag, sway, body roll and porpoising. Torklift Central can also evaluate whether the truck needs adjustable leveling in addition to loaded handling control.
Is StableLoad® made in the USA?
Yes. StableLoad is proudly manufactured in the USA by Torklift.
What warranty comes with StableLoad®?
StableLoad is backed by Torklift's Legendary Lifetime Warranty. Warranty coverage extends to the vehicle's factory leaf springs.
Does StableLoad® have a satisfaction guarantee?
Yes. StableLoad is backed by a 90-Day Satisfaction Guarantee so customers can experience the difference in loaded stability, control and driving confidence.
Customer Reviews
Our only suggestion is that the installation instructions were of better quality. Not much to ask considering the price of the product (but well worth the $$ given the results). A year later and a number of camping trips. Product continues to provide improved handling .
I didn't realize that to disengage them it would require me to jack up the truck, but they are not bothersome driving around town while engaged.
So glad I bought these. I feel like it saved me from purchasing a new truck.1
