The Add-A-Step is the easiest way to extend the height of your SMARTSTEP® GLOWSTEP REVOLUTION® Uprising. You can easily add or remove steps because the truck camper step is bushing bolted. It can be as short as three steps or as high as five steps. Designed to work with the 24” and 28" width doorways.

Torklift has your back with the Add-A-Step accessory kit. Easy to install, the Add-A-Step still has the same original design as the SMARTSTEP® GLOWSTEP REVOLUTION® Uprising steps, it just gives you the ability to add an extra step when you need it! The multi-link hinge design of these RV steps accommodates any space constraint, so it doesn’t matter how close you park to structures, trees, service bays or inside of a storage facility – you’re still able to use these trailer steps.
To maximize a lifetime of smooth action and ease of use, the RV steps are assembled carefully by hand and adjusted to precise torque. The unique bushing bearing design is used on each side of every hinge point on the steps, preventing the step hinges from coming loose over time. The bushings act as a bearing surface that can handle significant tension without over-stiffening the step configuration, a common problem found on rusting factory steps. Due to these features, Torklift's GlowStep line of RV steps guarantee longevity, durability and quality.

How is the GlowStep Revolution Uprising different from the original GlowStep Revolution?
It mounts in the doorway to the RV’s door frame (instead of an underbody step well) and adds the industry’s only built-in booster step for additional adjustment capability.
What is the built-in booster step and how does it help?
The bottom tread folds up or deploys with a lever to add an extra step, delivering up to 7.5 inches of additional vertical adjustment as part of the system’s 15 inches total.
How much space do I need to deploy the steps?
Thanks to the multi-link hinge, they deploy in tight spaces with as little as 12 inches of clearance.
Can I remove the steps for storage or service?
Yes, our keyway disconnect lets you remove the entire system in seconds with no tools, then reinstall just as quickly.
Will these steps work on my RV?
They’re designed for RVs without an underbody step well and mount directly to the door frame; use the Find Your Fit tool to match width and threshold height.
How do I choose the right size?
Measure the narrowest part of your doorway frame (between the door flanges) and the ground-to-threshold height, then select the matching 3–6 step model shown in the Specs.
What is the weight capacity?
3–4 step models support up to 375 lbs, 5-step models up to 325 lbs, and 6-step models up to 300 lbs; see Specs for details.
Is it stable and mobility-friendly?
Yes—the earth-to-RV design with All Terrain Landing Gear levels on uneven ground, and the 7.5-inch riser height feels like home steps.
