Tell me about your Free Way Trailer Safety Inspection for my flatbed trailer

Our FREE safety inspection referred to as the Free Way Trailer Safety Inspection was created just for you and your flatbed trailer repairs so they can be completed – your way. This free service is just for you and your needs and is complimentary when you book or schedule a bearing repack. Let us make sure you are safe before you head down the freeway. Book this complimentary appointment with us and we will conduct your inspection and make any needed recommendations for your review. Don’t worry – no pushy salesperson will pressure you into doing the recommended services. We don’t like that either, so we won’t do that to you. We offer this free service – your way.

What is included in the Free Way Trailer Safety Inspection?

We are going to take a look at your leaf springs, wheel bearings, fenders, axles, lights, brakes, trailer jacks, trailer tongue, coupler, frame and wiring. During this inspection we will do our best to get into the nitty gritty of your trailer but because this is a complimentary service, components will not be removed for deeper inspection, but don’t worry, we know just what to look for. If you would like to upgrade your inspection to allow us to remove your hubs to see your wheel bearings and brakes in their entirety, we can do that too for $50. If you decide to schedule your wheel bearing repack (which should be done annually) or your brake replacement, the upgrade cost is waived.

What is the main cause of why flatbed trailers break down on the freeway?

It’s this teeny tiny maintenance that your trailer manufacturer recommends you do annually that turns into a massive monster of a repair. Avoiding annual trailer wheel bearing replacement will eventually have you parked on the side of the freeway as other cars zip past you. The cost is high for these ensuing repairs if you forget to have your trailer wheel bearing replacement completed. We know how to replace trailer bearings and the cost starts at right around $199.99 which is cheap compared to wheel bearing failure. Don’t let this happen to you.
