These chains help enhance traction and braking in forward or reverse without having to stop the vehicle to manually chain up your tires. It consists of four major components:
Once activated, the chains drop down in seconds and make contact with the vehicle’s tire sidewall, pulling it under the tire tread. Air pressure holds the chain against the sidewall, always ensuring the chains are assisting with traction and rotating in sync with the tire rotation. Once traction assistance is no longer needed, then the driver can simply flip the switch again to retract the chains.
