What entry heights does the GlowStep Original fit?
Choose from 2–6 step configurations to match 16"–54" entry heights, depending on model and tread depth. See the Specs for exact ranges.
How much space is needed to deploy the steps?
The multi-link hinge deploys straight down in as little as 12 inches of clearance.
What mounting area is required and how does it attach?
You’ll need a flat 1" H x 20" W mounting area. A universal bracket is included to mount to the rear bumper or under the door, and it also works on trailer tongues, rooftop tents, box trucks, and more.
What is the weight capacity?
The system supports up to 375 lbs depending on step count and tread depth. Refer to the Specs table and footnotes for detailed capacities.
Are the steps stable on uneven ground?
Yes, the ground-to-camper connection eliminates wobble, and the optional All Terrain Landing Gear levels footing on any surface.
Do the steps glow in the dark?
Yes, the treads self-illuminate for up to 10 hours after just 5 minutes of light exposure.
Can I add or remove steps later?
Yes, the modular, bushing-bolted design lets you add or remove steps as your entry height changes.
Can the steps be removed for storage or access?
Yes, the GlowStep Original removes completely in seconds and folds up to store.
