Onspot Tire Chains

Designed to work best on ice, packed snow and up to six inches of snow, the Onspot system helps get you going, keeps you going and helps you stop. Chains need to be engaged and disengaged while moving and before you reach slippery conditions. Now the weather doesn’t have to stop you from taking care of business.

The Onspot tire chain system allows the operator to engage and disengage tire chains at the flip of a dashboard switch. With six lengths of chain available, there are plenty of options for many different tire sizes. These chains help enhance traction and braking in forward or reverse without having to stop the vehicle to manually chain up your tires. It consists of four major components:

• Dashboard Switch
• Frame-mounted air electric solenoid
• On Spot chain unit assembly
• Vehicle mounting bracket

Once activated, the chains drop down in seconds and make contact with the vehicle’s tire sidewall, pulling it under the tire tread. Air pressure holds the chain against the sidewall, always ensuring the chains are assisting with traction and rotating in sync with the tire rotation. Once traction assistance is no longer needed, then the driver can simply flip the switch again to retract the chains.
