While the official start of the 7th Annual Kent Turkey Challenge won’t begin until October, we are always willing to accept money on behalf of the challenge and the Kent Food Bank throughout the year. Thanks to Enterprise Holdings Foundation, we have our first donation to the 2017 Kent Turkey Challenge!

“Enterprise supports local charities because it’s one of our founding values. We strengthen our communities one neighborhood at a time. Giving back is something that has always been important to our company since we were founded in 1957 and it still holds true today,” said Sara Baydek-Hicks, Business Rental Sales Executive. Sara and her colleague Samuel Nokes brought the donation by our facility to drop off the check.

This is especially poignant for us because we recently lost our found Jon Kay who was a major pillar of strength and wisdom not only in our company but the community. His family requested that people make donations to the Kent Food Bank instead of sending flowers for the funeral.

Dropping off the Enterprise check to the Kent Food Bank!

We really appreciate this significant donation from Enterprise and is a great way to start the challenge off on a high note this year. More info on the 7th Annual Kent Turkey Challenge will be coming later this year.

Please don’t hesitate to bring in your donations for the Kent Food Bank or give us a call at 877-343-6933 for questions.
