So, you’ve got yourself a shiny new stainless steel EcoHitch for your Acura Integra, and now you’re ready to level up your towing game. Whether you’re hauling bikes, camping gear, or a tiny house (just kidding!), we’ve got you covered. Follow along as we simplify the installation process and sprinkle in a little fun. No engineering degree required—just a bit of patience and a love for your car!

Pop open the rear hatch and remove the retaining screws from the trim along the lower hatch opening. It’s like peeling back a layer of your Integra’s personality—trust us, it’s worth it.

Next, release the trim from its hooks by sliding it rearward and toward the car's center. It’s like gently convincing your car to loosen up a bit. Don’t worry, it’s listening.

Remove a sneaky screw on each side, previously hidden by the lower trim. These screws thought they were safe—little did they know your determination knows no bounds!
Time to temporarily say goodbye to your license plate and bracket. They’ll be back soon, looking fabulous with the included flip kit.

Remove the mud flaps and bumper cover screws on both sides. Think of it as giving your Integra a quick spa treatment before the hitch transformation.
Detach the bumper cover, carefully disconnecting the electrical harness. Take a moment to admire the hidden beauty of your car’s inner workings. Set the bumper aside—it’s coming back later.

Remove the rear cross member by unscrewing the bolts. It won’t be joining the EcoHitch party, so bid it farewell.
Here’s where the magic happens. Use the included bolt fisher (a tool so clever it’s almost a party trick) to install bolts into the frame. Next, loosely attach the hitch, center it, and torque everything to perfection. Add the frame support brackets, and you’re almost there.
Here’s where style meets functionality. Follow the template to cut an oval hole in the bumper that’s hidden by the license plate. Then, install the flip kit so your license plate flips down, revealing the receiver hitch in all its glory.
Reassemble everything, starting from Step 8 in reverse order. Marvel at how everything comes together. Double-check that all bolts are properly torqued, because safety first!

With your hitch installed, you’re officially ready to tow like a pro. Whether you’re off to the mountains, the beach, or the local DIY store, the EcoHitch has got your back—and your cargo.
