The Kent Turkey Challenge is back for its 14th year!
From October 4 through November 15, Torklift Central is calling on local businesses, schools, churches, community groups and organizations to come together for a friendly competition with one goal: helping our neighbors through the Kent Food Bank.
Whether your organization collects food, raises funds or does both, every contribution helps us move closer to our community-wide goal.
What Is the Kent Turkey Challenge?
The Kent Turkey Challenge is an annual community food and fundraising drive organized by Torklift Central to support the Kent Food Bank.
Each fall, businesses, schools, churches, organizations and community members throughout Kent come together in a friendly competition to collect food and raise money for neighbors who need additional support during the holiday season.
Participants may compete against one another on the leaderboard, but everyone is working toward the same finish line: making a bigger impact together than any one organization could make alone.

The food and funds collected supported the Kent Food Bank and local families during the holiday season.
Businesses, schools, churches and community organizations from throughout Kent joined the challenge, demonstrating what can happen when our community works together.

The Kent Turkey Challenge is open to businesses, schools, churches, nonprofits, community organizations and other groups that want to give back.

Rally Your Team: Get your employees, students, members, customers, families and friends involved. Encourage your community to donate nonperishable food, contribute funds or help you spread the word.

Yes, but it's a friendly one. We will track participating organizations on the 2026 leaderboard for food collected and money raised. While there will be top-performing organizations, the bigger goal is bringing the Kent community together to support the Kent Food Bank.

About the Kent Turkey Challenge
Organized by Torklift Central in Kent, Washington, the Kent Turkey Challenge brings the local community together each fall to collect food and raise funds in support of the Kent Food Bank.
What began as a local effort to give back has grown into an annual tradition powered by businesses, schools, faith communities, organizations and residents who want to help their neighbors.
The 14th Annual Kent Turkey Challenge continues that tradition from October 4 through November 15, 2026.
