Short Bed 5th Wheel Hitches
PullRite SuperGlide
Superglide is the only true solution for safe 5th wheel towing with short bed trucks.
SuperGlide automatically moves the trailer away from the cab while making turns - allowing up to 90° turning without stopping, slowing down or even thinking about the space between the truck & trailer - and then automatically returns the hitch and trailer to the safe towing position over the truck axle when the turn is completed.
Until the introduction of the SuperGlide with the patented CamGlide feature, what options were there for people with short bed trucks? Not turn tight corners while towing your trailer? Install the hitch improperly... too far back in the truck bed to distribute the load correctly?
The Pullrite SuperGlide is a great solution to short bed trucks! It allows a 5th wheel hitch to be installed properly and automatically adjusts the spacing between the trailer and the pickup cab during turns, without requiring the driver to do anything other than drive.
All SuperGlide models are available with the removable base rail type installation pioneered by PullRite. Unique SuperGlide mounting system allows hitch and mounting posts to be easily removed with no tools - when done towing, simply remove the hitch and rails, twist the heavy duty mounting posts, turn and lift them out. A smooth, clean truck bed - with no need to carve chunks out of bed mats & liners.
GooseNeck Hitches
B&W Gooseneck
B&W's concept of "A hitch when you need it, a level bed when you don't" has been the basis for the B&W Turnover Ball Gooseneck Hitch since 1988. The patented Turnover Ball offers you the versatility you need when you need it. We offer a Turnover Ball Hitch to fit nearly every domestic full-sized pickup on the market.
The Turnover Ball is an easily installed, complete gooseneck hitch that bolts to the frame of your truck using existing holes. The Turnover Ball comes with a removable 2 5/16" ball, and is rated for 30,000 lbs. towing and 7,500 lbs. tongue weight capacity. The ball stores upside down in the socket when not in use, leaving a flat, unobstructed bed floor.
To change, just pull and turn the spring-loaded latch pin in the driver's side wheel well, lift the ball out of the socket, flip it over, drop it back into the socket, and engage the latch pin. The process takes longer to read about than it does to complete.
The Goodneck will install in about an hour, with no welding. The hitch assembly simply bolts across the truck frame under the bed while the bed is in place -- the only modification to your truck is a four-inch round hole in the pickup bed floor.
