What it means to be made in the USA

When Fourth of July comes around each year we have the privilege to reflect on what it means to be American.  When Torklift Central founder Jon Kay opened Torklift Central as a one bay shop in 1976, he laid the foundation for how he believed an American business should conduct itself.  Nearly 40 years later, we are grateful to be celebrating another travel season of doing right by our customers both in the United States and around the world.

Here are just a few of the ways we do our best to live up to what we believe it means to be an American-made RV and towing business:

American-made manufacturing materials 

Every product Torklift Central manufactures is made from materials sourced from the United States. Our EcoHitch is an American-made hidden trailer hitch manufactured from aerospace grade aluminum, stainless steel or steel that’s recycled from the American metal industry.

Our wholesale manufacturing division, Torklift International holds to the same standard.  Every metal part Torklift International manufactures and distributes throughout the United States and around the world is built with true American steel, aluminum and other metals produced right here in the US.  Torklift Central and Torklift International support the US steel and metal industry and most importantly the thousands of families they represent in every way we possibly can both through our retail and manufacturing divisions.

Through all of their sacrifices, hard work, dedication and selflessness, we are able to live in a country we truly believe to be the land of the free.

We strive to carry American-made RV and towing products that are made by American hands with American materials whenever possible.  If you browse through our showroom floor you’ll find the Made In America badge on products throughout our facility.
