Hydralift systems may allow towing in some applications, but the complete RV, lift, hitch and trailer or towed vehicle combination must be reviewed.

Questions before you install a motorcycle carrier?
Here are answers to common questions about Hydralift, motorcycle weight, RV fitment, towing behind the carrier, loading and vehicle limits.
Do you install motorcycle carriers and motorcycle lifts?
Yes. Torklift Central can review and install compatible motorcycle carrier and motorcycle lift systems, including Hydralift applications, when the RV or vehicle, frame, hitch or receiver, carrier and motorcycle are a suitable combination.
Can a Hydralift motorcycle carrier still allow towing behind the RV?
Some Hydralift configurations are designed to retain towing capability, but the final towing capacity depends on the specific lift, RV chassis, frame, hitch system, installation and all applicable manufacturer ratings. We review the complete combination before recommending a setup.
What motorcycle weight should be used for fitment?
Use the motorcycle's ready-to-ride or wet weight whenever available. Fuel, fluids, batteries, luggage and accessories can increase the transported weight, and the carrier or lift itself also adds load to the vehicle.
What do you check before installing a motorcycle carrier?
We review the vehicle or RV, frame and hitch structure, payload, axle and tire limits, carrier capacity, motorcycle weight and dimensions, rear overhang, road clearance, securement, wiring, lighting, exhaust, cameras, sensors and product instructions.
Can you install a motorcycle carrier on any RV or vehicle?
No. Not every RV, motorhome, truck, SUV, van, hitch or motorcycle combination is appropriate for a rear-mounted carrier or lift. The complete loaded system must stay within the applicable structural, payload, axle, tire, hitch and carrier limits.
Do you show customers how to use the motorcycle lift after installation?
Yes. For applicable systems, Torklift Central can review loading, securing, operating and pre-trip inspection steps so the customer understands how the installed carrier or lift is intended to be used.
Can the carrier affect lights, cameras, sensors or the license plate?
It can. The carrier and motorcycle may affect rear lighting, reflectors, license-plate visibility, backup cameras, parking sensors, exhaust clearance or rear access, so those areas are checked during fitment planning.
What if my motorcycle is too heavy for a carrier setup?
If the motorcycle, carrier or vehicle combination does not fit within the required ratings or creates an unsuitable rear load, we can discuss alternatives such as a motorcycle trailer or another transport configuration.
