Custom trailer hitch and trailer work is our bread and butter!

A trailer hitch on a bus? Why not! Recently at Torklift Central, we had a customer come in with an interesting request: to install a custom made hitch on a school bus. They were moving to Alaska and needed to tow a flatbed car trailer with their secondary vehicle on it behind the bus. Never one to turn down a challenge, at our core we are a custom fabrication shop, and couldn’t resist making and installing a hitch for such a unique vehicle!

Not only do we make our own line of hitches (the EcoHitch and SuperHitch), but we specialize in making custom fabricated trailer hitches at our shop. As part of our complete custom trailer hitches fabrication, we also provide wiring and electrical installations for every towing related project. From heavy-duty brake controllers to standard wiring harnesses, we stock all the necessary parts in-house to get the job done on-site.

Below are the photos of the custom tow hitch we installed on the bus. We hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoyed designing the custom fab hitch.
