The 4th Annual Kent Turkey Challenge now has a unique opportunity to collect donations from travelers that hail from far beyond Washington State.  With the Seattle/Tacoma KOA supporting the Challenge, visitors to the Northwest can help us fight hunger this Thanksgiving in Kent.

Situated just minutes from all the tourist attractions of downtown Seattle at 5801 South 212th Street
Kent, Wash., the Seattle/Tacoma KOA is a hub for travelers looking to explore the Great Northwest.  This year when they arrive, a Turkey Challenge box greets them with an invitation to help feed local families at the Kent Food Bank this Thanksgiving.

To encourage donations, the KOA is featuring a thermostat graph at their campsite to track their goals.  The hotter the temperature gets, the more people can enjoy a warm Thanksgiving meal from the Kent Food Bank.

We want to thank the KOA for being involved with the Turkey Challenge.  Hunger and poverty are certainly not confined to our city.  Having the Seattle/Tacoma KOA involved with the Turkey Challenge helps us unite with more people than ever from outside our community who understand the importance of the Challenge’s cause.
